curled up in complexity

“Tell me what your mind is telling, and I’ll show you where I’m going
Like a winding labyrinth, you’re a fireplace; an unabridged art and a fight with a face
I’d like to spend a little time, respite in your tangled mind
Tuck me in if you dare, and sing your songs to lead me there
Is it wrong that when I wake, I want a souvenir to take?
Nothing drastic that you’ll miss, my heart fluttering in your presence
But just one shot snapped, then time well spent shall it be
Though I’ve left, it will sit in a frame, to remind me of your name.”

Sometimes, I tend to write something or another, and usually I just let them stay in drafts. Well tonight was no exception because I feel so inspired (probably from too much Pride and Prejudice) and at the same time I felt like I wanted to share.

Words are too mystical to stifle all the things I really wanted to say. I'm not really inspired, in some degree, person-inspired.

It can be deemed human nature when people imagine things based on what they hear. It's that kind of inspiration. It's a different kind of mosaic made from a different kind of material.

(I owe this one to Jet Lag by Simple Plan feat. Natasha Bedingfield)
